John is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and Board Certified in Tax Law. As an Accredited Attorney with the Department of Veteran Affairs, he is qualified to give planning advice, create trusts and provide assistance with applications for the V.A. Aid and Attendance program which provides supplemental income to qualified veterans to pay for medical expenses. John is also skilled in navigating Medicaid rules and regulations and has helped many clients preserve significant assets. In 2016, John became the only attorney in Dallas that is certified in Elder Law through The National Elder Law Foundation (NELF).
John has practiced law in Dallas for over 30 years, initially focusing on Estate Planning. His background in accounting and tax law has been useful in helping his clients preserve their assets for their later-life needs and to pass on as their legacy to the next generation.
